A partnership between the City of Rock Springs, the City of Green River, and Sweetwater County, the Sweetwater Economic Development Coalition (SEDC) offers assistance to new and growing businesses in and around Sweetwater County, Wyoming.
As Sweetwater County residents, we’re passionate about making the place we live, work, and play better for everyone — and ensuring that both new and established businesses can grow, thrive, and succeed is the best place to start.
With expertise in commercial and industrial real estate, economic data, and marketing, we can provide new and growing Sweetwater County businesses with a vast range of knowledge and resources.

Our mission
Our mission is to sustain and retain a strong, diversified business climate in Sweetwater County, as well as strengthen its economic base by providing businesses with leadership and resources. Through capital investment, business creation, attraction, recruitment, and expansion, we create a dynamic framework for quality growth, development, and job enhancement.

Kayla McDonald
Economic Development Specialist

Kayla has been with the Sweetwater Economic Development Coalition since its creation in 2016. Her favorite part of economic development is seeing her community prosper, as well as helping entrepreneurs and small businesses succeed.
Prior to her role at SEDC, she spent two years as the Business Development Manager for the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce.

Eric Bingham has worked for the last 18 years in the Sweetwater County Land Use Department and eleven years as the Land Use Director.
